Diane Keaton defends Woody Allen over abuse allegations



Actress diane keaton has voiced her assist for director woody allen, announcing she "keeps to agree with him".

Keaton gained an oscar for her position in his 1977 movie annie hall, and her feedback come after allen's adopted daughter dylan farrow repeated allegations of sexual assault towards him.

The 82-yr-vintage director denies all the accusations.

"woody allen is my buddy and that i continue to agree with him," keaton wrote on twitter.

She linked to a 1992 interview in which allen defended himself against the authentic accusations made by his former accomplice mia farrow.The allegations have resurfaced amid hollywood's sexual harassment scandal, and dylan farrow gave her first tv interview approximately the challenge earlier this month.

Inside the interview, farrow said she felt "outrage" after "years of being disregarded, disbelieved and tossed aside".

In response, allen repeated his denial of the claims and issued a new announcement pronouncing: "i in no way molested my daughter."

Keaton's declaration comes after a number of actors distanced themselves from allen.

Those encompass oscar-nominated timothee chalamet, who stated remaining week he could donate his revenue from allen's film a rainy day in ny to sexual attack charities, and actress and director greta gerwig, who stated she wouldn't paintings with him in the future.
